In addition to her thirty years of personal experience, Kinue Horikawa will bring the teachings of her mentor, Angelo Mangiarotti, to the PNA International Forum. For nearly twenty years, the renowned architect and designer—an influential figure in Italian architecture and, as will be seen, a passionate advocate for natural stone—was accompanied in his work by the young Japanese architect, born in 1967 and holding a Master’s degree in Architecture from Waseda University in Tokyo. Since 1995, Horikawa has been part of the Angelo Mangiarotti Studio in Milan, and today she serves on the Scientific Committee of the Mangiarotti Foundation and of Mangiarotti Associati Japan. At the Foundation, she is responsible for the archive and promotional activities, including the major exhibition on Angelo Mangiarotti held at the Triennale di Milano in 2023, and now the seminar ANGELO MANGIAROTTI’S NATURAL STONE, scheduled for 12:00 PM on June 12 in the Aula Magna Tolentini at IUAV University in Venice.
